Reve SoilX – Warnings and Precautions for Soil Testing
The accuracy, reliability, and usefulness of the Reve SoilX soil analysis report depends onseveral key factors. It is critical that users follow these guidelines to ensure that the datacollected is representative and actionable but not always reliable for informed agriculturaldecision-making.

1.Ensure soil samples are collected from the correct locations within the farm asrecommended in the Reve guidelines. Avoid collecting from corners, bunds, orrecently treated areas unless specifically intended.
2.Maintain appropriate soil collection depth. Reve generally recommends collectingsamples at 15–20 cm depth for most crops. For deep-rooted crops, deeper profilesmay be needed.
3.Use clean, non-contaminated tools for collecting and handling samples. Dirty tools, bags, or containers may lead to skewed readings.
4.Maintain hygiene of the SoilX device and sensors. Wipe sensors gently with soft clothbetween samples.
5.Calibrate the SoilX analyzer regularly as per the guidelines issued by ReveAutomation. Uncalibrated devices may lead to significant variations.
6.Soil granule size should be consistent. Remove stones and large particles. Crushclumps gently. Avoid grinding wet soil.
7.If water is used for extraction or dilution, always use deionised/distilled water. Do notuse tap water, as it introduces unknown variables.
8.Soil-to-water ratio should be strictly followed as per the SoilX sample preparationprotocol. Typically, 1:1.5 (w/v) is standard for many optical-electrochemical analyses.
9.Avoid conducting soil tests during or immediately after heavy rainfall or irrigation, aswaterlogged soil can mask real-time nutrient levels.
10.Place the SoilX device on a steady, non-vibrating platform during testing. Movementcan affect sensor reading accuracy.
Terms and Conditions
Reve SoilX report accuracy will depend on the correct procedures followed during samplecollection (location, depth), handling, preparation, and the condition of the SoilX analyzer atthe time of testing. Results are indicative of the condition of the sample at the time oftesting and are subject to variation due to environmental conditions such as rainfall, irrigation, or soil disturbances.
Recommendations derived from the Reve SoilX report are general in nature. For accurateyield improvements and precision crop planning, it is strongly advised that farmers consultqualified agronomists or soil scientists who can contextualize these findings against real-world crop scenarios, seasons, and geography. Therefore, Reve SoilX doesn’t hold anyresponsibilities for any kinds of adverse effects, consequences, or not deriving expectedresults or outcomes from any of its testing reports.
